Will the vest fit me ?

Skinetic's design adapts as well as possible to all morphologies and fits in sizes from XS to XXL.

What kind of feedback can I feel from Skinetic ?

Skinetic integrates wideband voice-coil motors, able to produce sharp and precise haptic feedback. Far from being a single buzz, we use the one integrated into Skinetic to provide a wide range of sensations.

How do I clean the vest ?

Skinetic includes motors and electrical components and, therefore, must not be washed under any circumstances. For hygienic reasons, Skinetic has a removable inner liner that can be detached and washed.

Does Skinetic integrate body tracking ?

Skinetic does not integrate any body-tracking technology. Nonetheless, you can easily attach a tracking system with a hot shoe mount on the back of the vest.

What kind of devices are compatible with Skinetic ?

By integrating three different interfaces to drive Skinetic: Creators Edition, we look to make it compatible with most of the VR and XR setups:

- USB interface can be used for PCVR systems, up to 5m distance. It can also be used with some standalone VR HMDs.

- Bluetooth interface is targeted for wireless applications with standalone VR HMDs.

- The Wi-Fi interface is targeted for modern headsets with streaming capabilities over Wi-Fi 6.

Orders

How can I cancel my order ?

You can cancel and receive a full refund if the order is yet to be shipped. 

Don't hesitate to contact the Skinetic support team with your Order ID to request a cancelation. If the order has been shipped, you cannot cancel your order. You may request a return after receiving it (Shipping fees are non-refundable). If you would like to return your Skinetic vest, please read our 'Return Process & Policy".

How do I track my order ?

Once you have completed your order payment, we will send a status update with an order ID to the email address you provided.

Please contact our support team if you are still waiting to receive an email. To track your order, we require the payment transaction information (ID, date of purchase, and account holder information).

When can I expect my order to be shipped ?

Deliveries will start in May 2023.

In-stock orders are shipped within three business days. If it is out-of-stock, it will be shipped out within a week from an estimated restock date stated on Skinetic official shop. We will inform you of the estimated shipping date once we confirm and prepare your order.

Delivery usually takes about 3 to 5 business days from the day we ship it. Please note that there may be unexpected delays caused by the shipping courier or customs authority.

Do I need to pay taxes and customs ?

The prices and shipping fees displayed on the Skinetic shop do not include taxes and customs duties applicable to your country outside France.
After purchasing from the Skinetic shop, you may be contacted by the shipping courier regarding customs & import duties following local rules and regulations.
Please get in touch with your local customs authorities for further information about taxes and duties.

What is the purpose of Unitouch Studio ?

Unitouch Studio is a software which gives you tools to easily build haptic patterns for devices integrating multiple vibrotactile actuators, like Skinetic.

It provides you a collection of sensation you can arrange spatially and temporally.

Once you're done designing your pattern, export it to integrate it in your application with Skinetic SDK.

What platform are compatible with Unitouch Studio ?

We distribute executable version of Unitouch Studio for Windows (10 and later) and macOS (10.13 and later) .
